Strawberry Cross Stitch

My newest cross stitch is a design by Lucky Star Stitches. The cutest little strawberry cross stitch to celebrate the success of my strawberry bed! 

it's only February but already this little red guy to the right is starting 2018 off right for my little strawberry bed, oh California! I hope they have a short season though and give off more runners to expand my little bed. 

I planted this little strawberry bed in a small section of my backyard when I moved in almost a year ago. I now have 3 new plants that propagated from the originals, they give off little runner plants that you can cut off once they've established as their own plant. 

Ok, back to the cross stitch! I'd like to do a series of these garden based cross stitches on the wall in my bathroom. Next I'd like to work on a similar design to celebrate my blueberry bush which despite having a tricky time settling in now has wee little blooms! Here's a naughty selfie disobeying the only posted rule in the house, "No Selfies in the Bathroom" and showing off placement of the new little cross stitch!
